The water cycle.

*The water cycle is the continuous movement of water from the surface of the Earth into the atmosphere and back to the Earth's surface again.
*During the cycle, water undergoes several changes in state.

a)The water droplets that fall as rain onto the surface of Earth go back to the lakes, rivers and sea.
b)Water from Earth's surface evaporates when heated and the water vapour again rises to the sky and then condenses to form water droplets.
c)Water undergoes evaporation and condensation repeatedly as the cycle continues.
*The water cycle is very important because it provides a constant supply of fresh water to all living things. It also makes sure that the amount of water on Earth remains the same. It' help to cool the Earth.
