Types of microorganisms.

*Microorganisms are very tiny living things.
*They are found almost everywhere around us.
*Most of them cannot be seen with the naked eyes.They can only be seen through a microscope.
*Bacteria,viruses,fungi and protozoa are various types of microorganisms
*Like all living things,microorganisms undergo life processes.They breathe,grow and move

                              BACTERIA

*Bacterias come in a variety of shapes,sizes and colours.
*They can be found in the air,water,soiland on the surfacesof objects and living things.

VIRUSES

*Viruses are the tiniest of the microorganisms.They can be infect some bacteria,fungi,protozoa,plant,animals and human.

FUNGI

*Fungi can be found on trees,in the soil and even on food such as mouldy bread and rotten oranges.Yeast and moulds are example of fungi.

PROTOZOA

*Protozoa are found mainly in ponds,lakes and rivers.
